ProSource Development announced it has hired Simon Ho as Chief Financial Officer effective immediately.

Ho will report directly to Chief Executive Officer, Rick Zipf, and will be responsible for driving the financial and international operations strategy for the continued growth of ProSource Development.

“From start-up to mid-market and enterprise corporate accounting, Simon has more than 20 years of experience as a high-energy, hard-charging financials and acquisitions executive in the hi-tech industry,” said Zipf.  “He has demonstrated the ability to forge high-performing teams that architect and execute aggressive strategies for profitable growth.”

Ho joins ProSource Development from Digital Chocolate, a late stage start-up where he served as the vice president of finance, managing the integration of international acquisitions and building up a finance team to manage the streamlining of operations.  He has also worked as an independent international financial consultant, working on IPO preparation projects for clients in China and Japan.  He also has held executive positions at Openwave, Pinnacle Systems and McAfee Asia.

Ho holds a degree in Computer Science from The University of California, Berkeley and has an MBA from The University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.  He will be based in Mountain View, Calif.
