Rick Zipf was appointed CEO of ProSource in November 2003 and brings over 20 years of distribution, manufacturing, software and services experience to the company. He is responsible for overseeing all aspects of strategic and day-to-day operations at ProSource Development.
Prior to joining ProSource, Rick served as the COO of Vcommerce, a leading provider of eCommerce solutions that provided solutions to manage high-volume order traffic across complex supplier networks. While at Vcommerce, Rick reduced operations burn and brought two new products to market, helping to triple revenues and close a $12 million Series “D” round of funding.
Before Vcommerce, Rick spent several years in various capacities at Oracle, Viewlocity, i2 Technologies, Deloitte Consulting and McDonnell Douglas. While at Deloitte Consulting, Rick created and implemented the firm’s global supply chain strategic marketing and partnership initiatives, helping to raise their global supply chain practice ranking from 17th largest to 4th largest in the industry. Rick also served in the United States Navy for six years.
Rick holds a degree from the University of California, Berkeley and an MBA from the University of Phoenix. He is a certified CIPM (Certified in Production and Inventory Management) member of APICS, the premier industry association for operations management professionals.
As Chief Financial Officer, Simon Ho is responsible for leading finance, human resources, IT, facilities and legal functions. Simon is an industry veteran with more than 20 years of financial management experience with small, medium and large hi-tech companies, having most recently served as the Vice President of Finance at Digital Chocolate, a mobile game publisher funded by Sequoia Capital and KPCB. Before Digital Chocolate, Simon served as Senior Finance Director at Openwave Systems, where he was responsible for managing global finance. Prior to that, Simon was the CFO with Connection to eBay, an Accenture company in B2C e-commence.
A true finance executive with global experience, Simon also held the positions of Vice President of Finance and, Finance Director of McAfee Asia, where he contributed to McAfee’s early growth in Asia through acquisitions and business developments. In addition, Simon has worked as an international financial consultant on IPO readiness projects for clients in China. Simon’s early careers include Intel, Sun Microsystems and Oracle Corporation.
Simon holds a degree in Computer Science from The University of California, Berkeley and an MBA from The University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
In January 2009, Sherry was appointed COO and manages the Pre-sales, Implementation, and Development activities within ProSource.
After a successful career in Public Accounting, where she managed the implementation of ERP solutions on IBM and DEC platforms, Sherry founded nFocus Technologies, Inc.. As President, Sherry grew nFocus into a successful ERP sales and consulting practice. Over the years, nFocus has been distinguished with many top sales and achievement awards from Microsoft and Syspro. During 2006, 2007, and 2008, nFocus was honored by Inc. Magazine and Indianapolis Business Journal as one of the Fastest Growing Companies in the U.S. and Indiana.
Throughout her career, Sherry has written and published several articles in the Journal of Accountancy and local Accounting magazines. She has also given numerous speeches at the national and local level on the ERP selection process.
Sherry holds a bachelor degree in Accounting from Indiana University. She is also a CPA and member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the Indiana CPA Society. Currently, she holds a Master Certification in Microsoft Dynamics AX and sets on numerous Microsoft Business Partner advisory boards.
Tom Bishop joined ProSource with over 20 years experience, having held sales and service management positions for Hewlett-Packard, Computer Associates, Unisys and Oracle. Tom also was a key executive for two high-growth organizations, Viasoft and Securant Technologies. He began his career as a management consultant at Accenture and holds a Bachelors of Science from Arizona State University.
April Merrill joined ProSource as the Vice President of Marketing and brings 10 years of experience marketing business management software and services within the Microsoft and SAP partner channels. April is responsible for all aspects of marketing and public relations globally as well as building alliances with partners and ISVs.
Prior to joining ProSource April has held positions in both large corporations and start up companies. Most recently April was the Marketing Director for Crossroads Partner in charge of crafting corporate messaging, branding and launching the company's new website. Prior to that April was the Liaison to Microsoft while at Tectura Corporation and served as the Marketing Manager for the west region among other roles.
April has a degree in Marketing from Bentley College and a certificate in eMarketing from the eMarketing Association and is a member of the Business Marketing Association as well as the National Association for Professional Women.
James Fan, Managing Director of the ProSource Shanghai Development Center (SDC) in Shanghai China has over 10 years of experience in enterprise software development and outsourcing services encompassing SCM, CRM, ERP and BI. James is responsible for the day-to-day operations in Shanghai including performance and training of engineers and overseeing of projects flowing through the center.
Prior to joining ProSource James served as project manager of National Computer Systems, a leading IT solutions provider in Singapore and Asia Pacific region.
James holds an MBA degree from the Shanghai University of Finance and Economics.
