Dan Kennedy, Vcommerce
Board Member

Dan Kennedy is the Chairman, President and Chief Technical Officer at Vcommerce, a leading provider of enterprise eCommerce solutions providing Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solutions to major global online retailers, manufacturers, apparel and entertainment companies including Sony Corporation, Gateway, HP and General Electric.
Over the past 13 years, Dan has been the entrepreneurial force behind several companies raising over $100 million dollars in venture funding.  
Prior to founding Vcommerce in 1997, Dan co-founded SalesLogix, one of the most widely used sales force automation software offerings to first hit the market.  Dan has helped Vcommerce to refocus its efforts to build an annuity-based model and deliver a comprehensive, web-base solution for capturing, sourcing and managing orders across multi-channel environments.
Dan studied Computer Engineering and Music Theory at Syracuse University.

Ian M. Morton
Board Member

Ian Morton is a Partner at Crimson Investment, an international private equity firm based in the Silicon Valley.  Crimson provides buyout and growth capital financing to companies capitalizing on the accelerating globalization trend in manufacturing and services.  Ian leads Crimson's software investments and has extensive experience researching and analyzing the software and hi-tech industries.
Prior to joining Crimson, Ian sourced and evaluated private equity investments for JP Morgan Chase for more than 10 years and served as a senior research analyst covering the enterprise software and supply chain industries.  Ian was twice selected as a CNBC All-Star Analyst and has been widely quoted in financial and industry publications including Forbes, Fortune, BusinessWeek The Wall Street Journal and Barron’s.
Ian has extensive equity underwriting experience having completed over 20 IPO and secondary financings for enterprise software firms including Agile, Art Technology Group, Clarus, E.piphany, Lawson Software, SupportSoft and Vastera.
Ian holds a degree in History from Middlebury College.

Rick Zipf
Chief Executive Officer

Rick Zipf was appointed CEO of ProSource Development in November 2003 and brings over 20 years of distribution, manufacturing, software and services experience to the company.  He is responsible for overseeing all aspects of strategic and day-to-day operations at ProSource Development.

Prior to joining ProSource, Rick served as the COO of Vcommerce, a leading provider of eCommerce solutions that provided solutions to manage high-volume order traffic across complex supplier networks.  While at Vcommerce, Rick reduced operations burn and brought two new products to market, helping to triple revenues and close a $12 million Series “D” round of funding.

Before Vcommerce, Rick spent several years in various capacities at Oracle, Viewlocity, i2 Technologies, Deloitte Consulting and McDonnell Douglas.  While at Deloitte Consulting, Rick created and implemented the firm’s global supply chain strategic marketing and partnership initiatives, helping to raise their global supply chain practice ranking from 17th largest to 4th largest in the industry.  Rick also served in the United States Navy for six years.

Rick holds a degree from the University of California, Berkeley and an MBA from the University of Phoenix.  He is a certified CIPM (Certified in Production and Inventory Management) member of APICS, the premier industry association for operations management professionals.
