Altara

Avanade

Avanade provides information technology services based on the Microsoft Windows platform through offices in more than 30 countries. Using Microsoft products, Avanade offers such services as operations management, enterprise portal development, and Windows migration. Avanade also provides services using Microsoft's .NET offerings, which enable data sharing over the Internet.

ProSource Development successfully created a customized high transaction volume interface between the existing supply chain system and Axapta ERP system in order to increase the overall efficiency for the packaging operations of a major Avanade client. Dedicated ProSource Development Axapta resources worked with Avanade project managers to gather requirements and develop a technical solution to reduce the time-to-market while also generating customized reports for the client.

Avnet Technology Solutions

Avnet Technology Solutions is a division of electronic components and computer products distribution giant Avnet Inc., with locations in more than 30 countries. As a global technology sales and marketing organization, Avnet Technology Solutions markets data servers, networking gear, and software through its Avnet Partner Solutions unit to original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), software vendors, and value-added resellers.

ProSource Development Java engineers used open source solutions JBoss, J2EE, Struts, JSP, and using Oracle database to create customized supply and demand tracking tool to reduce excess inventory, lost orders, and missed shipments. With ProSource Development Java resources available to start work on the project immediately, Avnet Technology Solutions was able to expedite the improvements in monitoring their sales and purchase orders, resulting in significant cost savings across their organization.

Border Construction Specialties is one of the largest suppliers of concrete, masonry, and rebar products to Southwest contractors.

The CD Group

The CD Group is a leading provider of consulting services for companies in the Manufacturing and Distribution industries that have annual revenues under $1 billion. CD Group's employees specialize in linking business strategy and business processes with IT capabilities to drive financial improvement. Working with The CD Group, ProSource Development is at the forefront of outsourced development for one of the first Microsoft Dynamics AX 4.0 implementations.

Leveraging our Dynamics AX 4.0 knowledge and expertise, ProSource Development is performing all development work to support the migration and conversion of data from the client’s existing Dynamics GP implementation to the multi-language, multi-currency, and multi-finance implementation of Dynamics AX 4.0. The client lacked the required Dynamics AX 4.0 development resources and technical leads to meet their aggressive rollout and launch schedule for Dynamics AX 4.0. In addition to providing flexible resources with the necessary Axapta development experience, ProSource Development is also writing the complex interfaces between the client’s internal legacy system and the more efficient and streamlined Dynamics AX 4.0 system that will be replacing it.

ePartners

ePartners provides business consulting services including systems implementation and integration, design solutions, customer relationship management, enterprise resource planning, business analytics, and technology training. ePartners specializes in working with Microsoft Business Solutions software helping clients to integrate and optimize Microsoft products and technology into their operations.

ProSource Development provided ePartners with support for the initial high level design and definition for their Axapta University Project. ProSource Development Axapta-trained staff worked closely with ePartners project managers to define high level learning objectives, curriculum, and lesson plan content for planned Axapta training to be offered by Axapta University for Microsoft to be rolled out in the fall of 2006.

Fox Technologies

Fox Technologies offers comprehensive controls solutions that enable organizations worldwide to effectively manage corporate governance and compliance. Fox Technology combines corporate, application, security and IT controls software into an integrated and automated environment that provides continuous visibility into corporate controls performance.

ProSource Development Java engineers used open source solutions SAP Java Connector, JBoss, Java Swing, Struts, and JSP to connect to the SAP system to enable Fox Technologies to create a web-based UI front end for their corporate, applications, and IT control products. ProSource Development also provided Fox Technologies with an offshore QA team for the project. By working with ProSource Development, Fox Technologies was able to start work on the project faster and without the need for additional US-based headcount, resulting in significant cost savings.

Fullscope

Fullscope develops and supports Process Industries for Microsoft Dynamics AX® and markets Microsoft Dynamics AX. The company is one of the initial participants in the Microsoft Business Solutions Industry Builder Initiative (IBI) program that enables Microsoft to market business management software solutions initially developed by independent software vendors. Fullscope also helps Fortune 2000 companies integrate and extend their enterprises to vendors, customers and trading partners.

Hearts on Fire

Hearts On Fire Company, established in 1996, specializes in the development, branding and marketing of The World's Most Perfectly Cut Diamond. The company offers one of the leading branded diamonds, and also provides a wide range of jewelry to showcase the Hearts On Fire diamonds. Its name, Hearts On Fire, was derived from the cut of the diamond itself. The cut features a perfect ring of eight hearts when viewed from the bottom and a symmetrical FireburstT when viewed from the top. Hearts On Fire Company also sells loose diamonds, branded as Hearts On Fire and Dream. The company is headquartered in Boston and has international offices in Asia, Europe and Latin America.

IMSure Solutions provides industry-leading, on-demand Commerce Facilitation Management (CFM) solutions to clients seeking best-in-class commerce tools and services.

Inform Information Systems

Inform Information Systems Ltd is an established provider of robust high performance Intranet and Client/Server solutions to the corporate marketplace. Headquartered in England and with partners across the world, Inform Information Systems offers services ranging from initial consultancy, through design and development and application support.

Kingfish

Kingfish is the creator of the online Kingfish Executive Network (XN), an online platform for senior industry executives, investment professionals, and strategy consultants to locate each other in order to tap into the best insights and expertise to assist with high impact business decision making.

ProSource Development is building a web application for the Kingfish XN for its members to join, meet, and network. A dedicated team of ProSource developers has been assembled to build, test, and maintain the web application for Kingfish. The technologies used in the development, testing, and maintenance consist primarily of open source technologies including Ruby on Rails.

Lelon Electronics Corp.

Lelon Electronics Corp. is one of the top 5 global manufacturers of electrolytic capacitors. Lelon offers a diversified product line of electrolytic capacitors that are found in a large variety of products including audio, video, computer, lighting, security, power, and telecommunications equipment.

Lelon lacked visibility into its global manufacturing supply chain operations and often faced costly supply/demand imbalances due to unplanned delays in delivery, shortages, and excess inventory issues. Lelon could not find a simple packaged solution for their specific operations issues and did not have the internal headcount to staff a team to address their most urgent pain points in their SCM operations.

Lelon looked to ProSource Development and its SCM expertise to quickly staff an offshore development team that could start working immediately on a customized global visibility management application solution that consisted of an auto shop floor scheduling system that had automated alerts, work prioritization, data collection, and reporting for their SCM operations.

MAVERICK Technologies is a next-generation operational consulting and systems integration firm, dedicated to raising business value through the innovative application of industrial automation and information technologies. MAVERICK combines manufacturing domain expertise with the design, integration and installation of workable systems that drive business value from the plant floor to the annual report.

MetricTest

MetricTest is a quality source for buying, renting and leasing new and refurbished electronic test equipment and has thousands of customers throughout the United States and more than 50 countries around the world.

Mountville Mills

Mountville Mills is one of the leading manufacturers of high-quality industrial mats for use in a variety of industries. Mountville Mills sells its mats to numerous distributors, resellers, and retailers and had already implemented Microsoft Axapta to automate its production planning, maintain optimal inventory levels, streamline order processing, and expedite its shipping operations.

Due to the highly competitive environment in the industry, Mountville Mills' supply chain and finance operations were forced to perform frequent manual updates of its customer database. Mountville Mills needed an automated process to update and consolidate customer data following mergers and acquisitions within their customer base.

ProSource Development worked closely with Mountville Mills project managers to extend its existing Axapta functionality to include the seamless and automated merging of customer histories, financial information, and outstanding orders information. This increased operational efficiency resulted in improved customer service and extended use of their Axapta ERP system.

NeuScope

NeuScope is a Shanghai-based web development firm that creates, designs, and maintains websites for a wide variety of customers ranging from retail to corporate websites throughout China. While performing a wholesale upgrade of their servers, NeuScope needed to run all of its customers¹ websites on Win2003 servers. A number of NeuScope customers had websites that had been originally generated by MS Site Server 3.0 that used ASP components that could not run on Win2003 servers.

Because many of NeuScope's customers relied on their websites to generate revenue, NeuScope had to find an immediate solution to allow the two different architecture technologies, ASP and .NET (C#), to work together. NeuScope lacked the internal resources with the required skill sets to work on this project and faced the possibility of losing a large number of its customers by failing to integrate their website operations onto Win2003 servers.

ProSource Development devised a customized solution to use .NET (C#) to rewrite the ASP-based website components to allow them to run on Win2003 servers. With a dedicated team of ProSource developers focused entirely on the conversion project, NeuScope was able to finish the project in half the amount of time required than if it had used internal resources. NeuScope customers experienced no delays or downtime in service and the conversion of the websites was not only seamless, but also seen as a positive upgrade for both NeuScope and its customers.

Polivec

Polivec creates, markets, and deploys security software for computer systems offering services to assist clients in formulating, administering, and monitoring security policies.

Polivec lacked the resource flexibility it needed within its US-based development staff to build and test their frequent software releases. Polivec also needed to free up its internal IT staff to focus on more strategic business initiatives. Partnering with ProSource Development, a dedicated offshore quality assurance testing center was set up for Polivec’s software products and releases, resulting in faster time-to-market and significant cost savings in the development and testing of their products.

Synaptics

Synaptics is a leading worldwide developer of custom-designed user interface solutions for mobile computing, communications and entertainment devices. Synaptics creates interface solutions for a variety of devices including notebook PCs, PC peripherals, digital music players, and mobile phones

ProSource Development engineers created a Java application to extract Synaptics¹ internal data and data from their key supply chain partners, storing it in an Oracle data warehouse. A customized reporting tool was created to generate automated reports using data from the data warehouse. The increased visibility across their supply chain operations allowed Synaptics to better monitor their entire production line and meet their sales order ship dates resulting in reduced inventory costs and improved customer service.

Timogen Systems

Timogen Systems develops and sells supply chain management software. Timogen's Decision Manager application improves inventory tracking and replacement by simulating potential events and their impact. It also provides and manages alerts, advice, actions, and analysis for leading manufacturing organizations.

Timogen is based in the US and lacked the resources to hire a large development staff. Timogen operations executives became interested in an outsourcing their software development activities and establishing an offshore development center to build, test, and maintain their software products.

Timogen partnered with ProSource Development to Build, Operate, and Transfer (BOT) an offshore development center focused entirely on Timogen’s software development. Within 6 months, ProSource Development had set up a dedicated Timogen Offshore Development Center, resulting in significant cost savings and faster time-to-market for its subsequent software products and releases.

Unitek Consulting

Unitek provides consulting, staffing and training services to clients worldwide, with a customer base extending through all US states and over 38 countries.

Unitek Consulting selected ProSource Development to support a project with a large financial records company. ProSource Development provided the development resources to complete the project deliverables, including the creation of BizTalk 2006 maps in HL7 format, the international standard for the interfacing of clinical data for healthcare organizations.

Volex

ProSource Development project managers and developers have experience with ERP and SCM-related software applications. On site project managers worked closely with Volex operations staff to gather requirements to create a customized supply/demand balance tool for Volex to track excess inventory and lost orders with the goal of improving the ability of Volex’s supply chain operations to respond to imbalances in real-time. Offshore ProSource developers built, tested, and provided maintenance for the customized application tool within the timeframe set by both sets of project managers.

Productivity of Volex’s purchasing personnel increased with the greater visibility into demand fluctuations and supply issues and improved data utilization available through the customized SCM tracking tool. Lowered expedite costs, reduced excess inventory, and increased on-time order fulfillment rates resulted in tremendous cost savings for Volex.

XLCubed

XLCubed builds reporting and analytic applications to bring flexible reporting power to the thousands of analysts that use Excel every day as their tool of choice. Their key focus has been to produce the best full function Excel Add-in on the market for end users of Microsoft Analysis Services while satisfying the requirements of IT Departments. XLCubed provides front end solutions for organizations ranging from the largest multinationals to SME enterprises.
